POSITION SUMMARY

Exciting opportunity for an LCSW to provide both individual and group psychotherapy as part of Tarzana Treatment Centers mental health department in Woodland Hills. Supervision opportunities if licensed more than 2 years.  Play a leading role in TTC’s Partial Hospitalization Program.  Experience running groups, and knowledge of CBT, DBT, and co-occurring disorders required.  Full-time position with benefits.

Salary Range 

$38.50 - $55.50 per hour DOE

CATEGORIES OF DUTIES

Clinical Responsibilities shall include:

1. Conducting assessments of patients at the time of admission and re-assessments as required
2. Mental status examinations
3. Providing appropriate diagnoses and treatment recommendations based on a review of the patient’s history, signs and symptoms
4. Proper documentation in the medical record of services rendered
5. Individual, couple/family, and group psychotherapy, as needed
6. Crisis intervention services, including 5150 determinations
7. Treatment planning
8. Participation in medical record reviews
9. Utilization review activities, as required
10. Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements (i.e., suspected abuse; Tarasoff), professional boundaries and related issues.
11. Other duties as assigned by Director/Administration Supervision/Training shall include.
12. Providing supervision to counseling staff as deemed appropriate.
13. Conducting performance evaluations of interns or staff, if applicable to the position.
14. In-service training to staff and/or trainees on mental health topics, as required.
