POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an organized and dependable Clerk to join our team as a Student Tuition Representative. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our administrative tasks and assisting students with their tuition-related inquiries. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and excellent organizational abilities will contribute to the smooth operation of our office and ensure a positive experience for our students.

SALARY RANGE

$24.50 - $26.50 per hour DOE

HOURS

Up to 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday.

CATEGORIES OF DUTIES

  1. Provide excellent customer service to students, assisting with tuition-related inquiries and providing accurate information.
  2. Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records of transactions.
  3. Assist in processing tuition payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  4. Collaborate with other team members to resolve student issues and provide effective solutions.
  5. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student information with the utmost professionalism.
  6. Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings related to tuition matters.
  7. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email, relating to tuition inquiries.
  8. Stay up-to-date with our tuition policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and accurate communication.
  9. Assist in maintaining office supplies and inventory related to tuition materials.
  10. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Director and/or Administration.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATES

None

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and maintain professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Experience working with underserved populations helpful.
