POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for a variety of duties in the Detox Unit/Nursing Station, i.e., answering telephone calls, clerical duties, record keeping and other duties assigned by the DON/supervisor.

SALARY RANGE

$24 - $26 per hour DOE

HOURS

8 per Day / 5 Days per Week

CATEGORIES OF DUTIES

1. Answering all telephone calls received on the Detox Unit.

2. In charge of the daily census. Keep patients charts in order, obtaining the needed signatures for compliance and all necessary filing.

3. Provide general information to the patients

4. Assists the RN with administrative tasks, i.e., preparing twenty-four (24) hour reports for the nursing office, phones admitting office daily for list of new admissions, receives and directs visiting counselors Creates the daily History and Physical list.

5. Tracks and files all diagnostics

6. Copying and printing as needed for the unit

7. Prepares charts for admission

8. Will maintain monthly logs and collects for the DON.

9. Data input in Avatar. Computer knowledge and able to work in Word and Excel

10. Assists doctors and nurses when needed and runs errands on the ward.

11. Other duties as assigned by Director and/or Administrator.
