Position Title: Data Analyst I

Reports To: Program Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

Full-time position. Will primarily provide support to Data Coordinator in a) design data collection instruments including surveys, focus groups and other data collection instruments, b) assist in conducting surveys and focus groups, c) develop electronic to document data collection, d) utilize SPSS and other statistical software to analyze and interpret data, collect secondary relevant to program evaluation, and e) assist in preparing evaluations, guides, handbooks for the program,

Must have excellent writing and communication skills; strong organizational skills; and ability to work with a team.

*This is an On-site Position*

SALARY RANGE:

$24.75 - $28.50 per hour DOE

HOURS

40 per week, Monday-Friday.

CATEGORIES OF DUTIES

1. Designs data collection instruments, including forms and fields in currently utilized data gathering software

2. Utilizes SPSS and other statistical software to analyze and interpret data

3. Prepares SPSS syntax files

4. Develops reports for agency’s performance improvement and management decision-making

5. Responds to data requests for grant/proposal preparation and other needs of the agency

6. Performs other related duties as assigned by Administrator or Director of Program Development

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Must have a Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis using SPSS and/ or Excel.
